This privacy policy explains how You Are Forever Here collects, uses, and protects your information when you use this website.

Information we collect

When you purchase a spot, we collect: your name, optional message, optional image (uploaded by you), optional link, and the email address you provide at checkout (via Stripe). We use this to create your spot on the grid, to send you a confirmation email, and to verify testimonial submissions. Payment is processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details.

When you contact us via the contact form, we store your name, email, and message so we can respond. When you leave a testimonial, we store your spot number, name, message, and (if required) we verify your email against the one used at purchase.

How we use it

We use your data to run the service: to display your spot (name, image, message, link) on the grid, to send confirmation and (if you contact us) reply emails, and to prevent impersonation (e.g. testimonials). We do not sell your data to third parties.

Third parties

Payments are handled by Stripe (their privacy policy applies to payment data). Emails are sent via Brevo. The site is hosted on Vercel. Images you upload are stored on Vercel Blob. Data is stored in a database (e.g. MongoDB). These providers process data as necessary to operate the service.

Retention and your rights

Spot data (name, image, message, link) is kept for as long as the service exists, in line with the promise that you are “forever here.” Contact form submissions and testimonials are retained for the operation of the site. If you are in the EU/EEA, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data where applicable; contact us via the Contact page to request this.
